My mom recently passed from her second battle from breast cancer.   Please please please recover.   We can’t be losing nice people to this shit.  

I am growing out my hair again to donate to the cancer society.   I’ve donated it multiple times because it’s the easiest thing I can do to help.  

Please get better.

If my hair hadn’t gone over 50% gray from chemo, I’d donate it again. Unfortunately, it did, which sucks, because gray hair can’t be used for hair donations (too fragile and doesn’t take up color evenly). Please keep donating it for me!

My hair is super fine and the lightest type of blonde.   It’s apparently the best hair for donations for a lot of types of people.  

I desperately want to shave my head because I play sports and this hair is insanely hot during the summer.

I’m an 18yr brain cancer survivor and i remember that part of chemo. But on the first sign of losing hair we shaved it bald, not letting chemo or cancer do it. So my hair all grew back but the last year and a half I shave my head with a proper head shaver.

My mom’s doing chemo now and her kind doesn’t cause hair loss but it makes her hair texture super wirey so she cut it short. It also made her brows and lashes grow like crazy and she has to trim them. (Her lashes are so long both on top and bottom that if she doesn’t cut them they hit her glasses. I told her people pay good money for that and she joked she’d happily trade them.)

Hope your’s continue to hang in there but you’ll look amazing either way!
